Dear Communities Participants,

I hope you are doing well,

1) We are sharing again with you the following ODA Alert document:

ALERT Diskgroup Corruption Due to Invalid ASM Block Header [ENDIAN_KFBH] for Devices Larger Than 2TB with ADVM Volume on X5-2 ODA - 12.1.2.2 and 12.1.2.3 Only (Doc ID 2038152.1)

2) This alert is very critical for ODA systems running on 12.1.2.2 or 12.1.2.3 release.

3) ODA Systems running on 12.1.2.2 or 12.1.2.3 release need to be upgraded immediately to 12.1.2.4 or 12.1.2.5 or 12.1.2.6 (available by the end of February-2016) to prevent possible corruption issues in the ASM diskgroups.

4) If your system cannot be upgraded at the moment, then you can apply the interim patch already included in the following document:

Howdy, Stranger!
