ER compare between different JDE releases

Hi,

Will the ER compare tool work effectively between different releases (Xe - 9.1). If not, is there a way to make it work.

I have copied a complete Xe path code on the deployment server of 9.1, created a path code entry for this and tried to compare, doesn't show the code for Xe.

Any comments are appreciated.
