parallel server issue

The question I have remains indirect, but I'll start off with something that is 100% certain : the database was hitting ORA-12805 errors (Parallel server died unexpectedly).

Why that occured, is one question. But, a bigger problem is this : since that moment, weird connection issues occur:

- disconnects without Obvious reason

- connections hang, again without Obvious reason

The alert is not showing indications, database has been bounced many times since. Keep in mind most database connections run just fine. Other databases on same server, all run fine.

I'd rather not explain what I did look at yet, in order to not go into uncertain directions. So, question would be : what's happening ?
