Is it possible to recover level 1 backups to an image copy created under database version 11.2.0.4 a

Hi all,

we plan to migrate a 10 TB database to 12c, so it's important for us to know how much time must be calculated for recovering respectively creating the image copy. Does anyone have experience on this topic?
