How do I get a sales order to appear when trying to do a credit order from history?

We are trying to do a credit order from history but when I enter the original sales order number and click find, nothing from the original sales order comes up. The order has been processed and I see that it is in the F42119 table so I know the order has been completed. We do credit orders from history all the time so what could be wrong with this order that doesn't allow it to show up to allow me to pick from the updated lines to create my credit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
