Difference between unconstrained and EDD plan.

Hi All,

I'm new to ASCP and have performed many test cases to understand the basic difference between all plan types.

Finally I've succeeded in understanding ECC plan, it respects the capacity constrains and move the suggested due to future dates resulting in exceptions like 'Late Replenishment' or suggestions to 'Reschedule Sales Orders' etc.

Few things, I've noticed between unconstrained and EDD plan.

1. Detailed scheduling option (in hours, minutes) is not available in unconstrained plan. However it is available in EDD plan

2. In both we will get exceptions like 'days compressed', 'resources overloaded' and 'sales orders in risk'. But these are quite same in both types of the plan.

Howdy, Stranger!
