MSSQL Database and Siebel IP2015 Upgrade

Hi,

We are migrating from Siebel 8.1.1.7 to IP2015, our current RDBMS is MSSQL 2008 R2. 

The idea was to upgrade our current RDBMS from 2008 R2 to 2014 before upgrating Siebel, but by mistake the database was generate with compatibility level "SQL Server 2008 (100)".  We already migrated Siebel DEV and QA environments with this setting, the question now is, what should be the best approach to change compatibility level to "SQL Server 2014".

1) Should we change it before or after production environment upgrade? Could we have some implication?

2) It will be necesary to change compatibility level and restart Siebel upgrade process from DEV environment.

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.
