JVM Sizes for EPM 11.1.2.2 and Exalytics

Re. Oracle document; EPM SYSTEM RELEASE 11.1.2.X ON ORACLE - EXALYTICS IN-MEMORY MACHINE

The section "Customizing Java Web Application Settings" says "Update the -Xmx to be : -Xmx60000m" for each setCustomParams*.sh script.

So for an Exalytics VM where Foundation services, Planning, APS and EAS are deployed, the sum of all these settings should be the equivalent of 4 * 60000m, or 240gb?

This seems excessive - does anyone have practical experience of setting these parameters as guidance, thanks.
