concurrent manager target value

Hi,

On every month beginning ( 1st to 5th ) we will be having a heavy load ( ~2 X normal day ) so we are increasing Concurrent Manager target values ( 1.5 X normal day ) for that 5 days and then we are decreasing it to the normal value. we are doing this every month will this procedure impact my system performance.
