SetID Conversion for PO Contracts

Currently the client I'm working with set their TableSet Controls/SetID's as the Business Unit in 9.0. Not all Record Group ID's are set to the BU most are SHARE. They are in the process of upgrading to 9.2 and are adding a new module Strat Sourcing.  They want to move to a SHARE SetID for PO Contracts but keep the old contracts in the current BU SetID without converting.

Has anyone done this before?
