Configurator Purchased configured item

Hello all,

We have a scenario where a part of a configured item, is purchased, and needs to be configured. I'm able to change the transaction type to 4 and get a PO when R31410 is executed.

I would like the R31410 to create the parts list, but I was wondering if it's possible to NOT create the PO and rather, have a way to manually execute the PO creation process if deemed necessary.

In our business, there may be another configured item that meets the requirements close enough(it may need to be slightly changed) in inventory.

Think of it as a cancelled configured order but we finished the product to inventory. Rather than purchase another configured item, use the one already in inventory.
