What is the functionality of Recalculate Shipment Stop Fields activity in OTM

Hi,

Can someone explain me what is the exact functionality of Recalculate Shipment Stop Fields activity in OTM.

We upgraded our instance from V6.2.8 to V 6.3.6

From then ,we are observing Loaded Distance is coming as '0.0 Miles' after actual shipment is received.

When we enabled logs to find out the reason, we observed this Recalculate Shipment Stop activity is causing this. After this is initiated, distance from previous stop is returning zero which in turn is updating Loaded Distance at shipment level to 0.

Please advise. Appreciate you help on this.
