USD in China tax book with US-GAAP requirements

We will be setting up a US-GAAP Tax Book in Oracle Assets (per secondary ledger enhancements) for R12.

We understand that Depreciation is run, but is only used for reporting purposes for this book.

Since we need to book the depreciation in our China US-GAAP Company, is the only way to book depreciation by a JE manually?
