EAS console not working from SSL

We recently configured SSL for EPMA. Workspace works fine with the SSL. However, EAS console is not working with SSL. When I try logging in using admin, it gives the message: "Could not connect to Administration Server". Not sure what we are missing in the SSL config for EAS console to work. The web link for EAS console is the same as weblink for workspace except that in this case it starts the EAS console. Please advice.
