Can we close the Inventory Module or is there a workaround procedure to do it without cloisng the GL

Can we close the Inventory Module or is there a workaround procedure to do it without closing the GL ?

This is one of the Business requirement since it will forcefully install a discipline to get the data entry and the Month closure on Time.
