Salvage Value for CIP Assets

HI

I have created Asset Category with Default Salvage Value percentage, but while Uploading assets through WebADI the system does not consider Salvage value for CIP assets, although it does for Capitalize assets?

Is it that Salvage value can be inserted or modified later on only for Capitalize assets only and not for CIP assets?
