Backorder Release not releasing Order Qty

Hi ,

We are facing an issue where it seems that backorder release program P42118 (WS 7.1 cume 12) is not releasing Order quantity on backorder even if sufficient quantity is on hand (Order is not on hold)

Example: Order date 17th Feb , Promise pick date =22nd Feb  Qty back ordered during order entry =10 . Now the On hand is more than 10 but still the quantity is not released as of 18th Feb. We have setup commitment days as 4 in branch plant constant.

Does the backorder release program do not release the quantity  before the number of commitment days even if stock is available.
