Import from database

I am considering different options to migrate databases to a new server with better hardware configuration. The source databases are of version 11.2.0.1. I have already setup blank databases of version 11.2.0.4 in target sever. I use OEM12c to monitor and manage all the databases in the environment. Besides a natural choice of RMAN, I am also considering "Export/Import dump --> Import from Database" that works through a database link. In the current version of databases, SYSAUX has been an issue which has grown to 50G (a known bug which has been resolved in 11.2.0.4). Optimizer stats history occupies 72%
