Global update to object account category codes?

Hello:

We have been purchased by another company and I need to update account category codes 40-43 with the parent copies account mapping.   Currently I am using the upload feature in "Work with Accounts', however I'm having to do it on the subsidiary level which is very time consuming because we have an huge chart of accounts.   Is there a more global way of updating the category codes by object account?  Via upload?
