Open UI based customer facing Portals

Hi Open UI Experts,

As Partner Portal redesigned using Open UI, what are the pros and cons of creating customer facing portal using Open UI?. there is J2EE based self service Siebel support application. Still it is recommended by Oracle?. What happened to eSales, eService, eLoyalty (SI appliciation), will be redesigned using Open UI Framework?.

Is there any successful case studies of customer facing portals using Open UI?.
