Hi,

I am new to OPM and trying to compare jargons in OPM with Discrete Manufacturing. I have a query on Formula. What exactly is Formula ?

Is it equal to Item...?

Formulator>>Formulas opens up a form to create a new Formula. I created a new formula = '123456'.

On checking mtl_system_items_b, it shows segment1 = '123456'. Segment 1 is nothing but Item_code of the Item which is used in Discrete Mfg. So is it correct to say Formula in OPM = Item Code (used in Discrete Mfg)
