Understand redeploy and reimage of ODA

Hi All,

I am new to ODA. I want to understand the difference in redeploy and reimage of the ODA.

i want to understand the use cases of redeploy(if this is only required to update the configurations of the ODA viz.IP address) and that of reimage a ODA.

During reimage of ODA, does it clean up the whole ODA  and make it a fresh box without any data in it?

During redeploy or reimage the ODA can we include the db template (the current setup i am unable to create db using oakcli) ?

I want to clean up the ODA to make it available for another envirionment once we complete the application development phase or testing phase.
