Inventory - Item lead times setup (Processing) - Impact on need-by date

Hello,

I was wondering whether setting up a value for a certain item in processing lead time attribute would have any impact when requesting that item (purchase requisition / purcahse order) in the Need-by date field or not?


Does lead time atribute group just make any sense when using MRP?
