CTO/ATO model conversion from MAKE to BUY.

Hello Everyone,

Our business is converting their process from In-house manufacturing to a outside contract manufacturing. So all of our ATO model items will have to be converted from MAKE type to BUY.

So, here is the sample structure. This is what is currently being used for in-house manufacturing.

As you know there is "star item" that gets created when the MODEL item is being ordered. Lets call it as XX-ATO-MODEL*23456 and this drives the manufacturing process for the model item XX-ATO-MODEL.

This initial model was built for in-house production/manufacturing, meaning the model was setup as MAKE type. As, they are moving out a outsource supplier to manufacture them we need to change the type to BUY.
