EAS bogs down Essbase service in 11.1.2.3.500
I’ve been seeing an issue intermittently lately that I couldn’t get any help from Oracle Support, so I’m grasping at straws here. The issue seems to be that EAS (or the admin server entirely) is bogging down the Essbase service. So what happens is that I’ll do a refresh in EAS and it will spin for a while, and then I’ll notice that Smart View in Excel is hanging too. Sometimes I can fix the issue by restarting the OPMN service on the ESS server and then restarting the EAS service on the ADM server. This most recent time though
