Generate All Rules program for picking rule modification

Hello,

We are on 12.2.3 and use Oracle Inventory without Oracle WMS.If we modify one of the inventrory picking rules(for wip component release) , do we need to run the Generate All Rules program?Or is this program to be used only when a new Picking Rule is added?
