How to purge XMLP_SCHED_JOB ?

Hi, experts

I feel XMLP_SCHED_JOB is large and I want to purge it.

I have below questions:

1. Can I use "How To Purge Job History Older Than X Days in Oracle BI Publisher Enterprise 11g (Doc ID 1626883.1)" to

   purge XMLP_SCHED_JOB ? (I found the SQL delete from XMLP_SCHED_JOB )

2. If Note: 1626883.1 is the only method to purge XMLP_SCHED_JOB, what kind of information will be purged?

3. What kind information stores in XMLP_SCHED_JOB ?
