Get custom price static formula

Hello

we are facing the following issue,

we want to use a static formula and get custom price. 'eg. our price is 10 and with the get custom price my price gets 20 as it retreives additional data)

this works fine, only thing is that

it does not seem to work if I change something in the formula

this does not change the price; meaning with static formula it will only change if I change my basic price i.e. 10 ??
