Are Oracle R12 Workflow Emails not compatible with Outlook 2010 ?

Users  have been having a problem with Oracle R12 emails not showing up properly within an inline email in Outlook 2010 ( version 14.0.7... )  - it shows up looking really terrible, with everything out of place and small GIF buttons lined up wrong.

Is there a way to rectify this issue ? Or do you have to open up the "Notification Detail.html" attachment ? Thanks very much
