Data Load issue with Snapshot vs. Full Refresh.

A user adds a journal entry into EBS and I'd like to reload balances without deleting data in profiles not using this datasource.  Snapshot doesn't pick up the new value, full refresh deletes data in all profiles.  What about incremental?
