We have Rousselot employee that lives in VA and works in NC. He was and should be taxed for SIT in both states. He submitted a Certificate of Exemption for NC SIT. The form was not processed timely and we deducted NC SIT from 3 checks paid to him after he turned in the form and we shouldn’t have (2 Regular run types and 1 Supplemental – bonus run type) on January 22nd and February 5th. We need to get the correct tax amounts moved from NC to VA and refund any amounts withheld over what is due to the state of VA.
