EBS R12.1.3 :exec ctx_ddl.sync_index('APPLSYS.FND_LOBS_CTX' taking a long time

Hi,

We are running EBS R12.1.3 on  11.2.0.1  .   As part of upgrade using export/import , we need to execute "synchronize  text indexes".      We are executing the following command

exec ctx_ddl.sync_index('APPLSYS.FND_LOBS_CTX'.

We have more than 112K records in ctx.ctx_pending.   this command is running for past 24 hours and we still have around 70K records pending to be processed.     Is there any alternative to  speed up this process?
