Running hrglobal.drv as part of 12.1.3 to 12.2.5

We are in process of upgrading from 12.1.3 to 12.2.5

I'm at the point where I've just applied the 12.2.5 RUP

The post-upgrade steps in the Upgrade Guide (E48839-13, Chapter 5, Human Resources Tasks) advises to follow Doc ID 1469456.1 "DataInstall and HRGLOBAL 12.2 Specifics"

Following this doc, the box in Section 3c states "If you are upgrading to EBS 12.2 from Release 12.1 you are recommended to apply HRGlobal in downtime mode"

and it gives the exact syntax to do this in downtime mode on the run filesystem.

However in Section 3b of the same document it states:

"If the connect information passed to the DataInstall utility points to the run edition, then DataInstall will internally switch to operate against the Patch Edition"
