Applet SearchSpec in List and Detail Applet in a view

Hi,

I recently noticed in a particular view (customer view) in both List and Detail applet same search spec is defined?

As far as i know, its recommended to provide searchspec in List applet alone.

Adding searchspec to list and detail applet will lead to any performance issue? is it recommended? will it trigger two SQL query in back-end to fetch data?
