Resubmitting failed mails

Hi,

We are currently having a problem with the Communications Inbound Receiver component due to which the emails were not getting processed.

The mails were picked up by the POP3 server , but the CommInbRcvr did not create any Event files (.evt) for the same. Instead the messages got into the '/bin/failed' folder. What process should be followed so that the emails present in the '/bin/failed' can be re-processed and picked up again?

I tried searching but there are solutions given only when a failure occurs after the event file is created. If there are any workarounds for this problem of processing from 'failed' folder, please suggest.
