a user deleted an incomplete credit memo and now we are unable to close the period

Dear Gurus,

There were three incomplete transactions on Subledger period close exception report in Receivables R12.2.5, out of which, User was able to complete two transactions and one was deleted when he was unable to complete it, he deleted that. Now that credit memo is appearing on Subledger period close exception report. And we are unable to close the period. A quick help would be highly appreciated.
