JDE "Obsolete" Users: how does your company handle them?
My former company was very swift in cutting access to all systems when an employee left. Their JDE user ID was completely deleted. Now, I objected to this a bit, suggesting that they disable the user for 30 - 60 days in case Former Guy's position got filled. Inevitably the ticket would come thru: "Give New Guy the same access as Former Guy." With them having been completely deleted, sometimes this was difficult to remember what role that Former Guy had. So that brings me to my current company. There are quite a few "Former Guys" in the user listing.
