Receipt Calculation in MFP

Hi,

I am working on MFP v15 these days and have some confusion over Receipt calculation.

When BU is updating the stock to sales ratio during Pre-season in "Develop Receipt and Inventory Plan", BOP is getting update for that week and hence EOP for last week.

Here Receipt for last week and this week also updated keeping total Receipt same for the period. For example if Receipt for last week is increased by X, Receipt for this week will be decreased by X.

I understand Receipt for last week is changing because of EOP for last week is changing. Not sure how Receipt of this week is changing without change in EOP and keeping total receipt same for the period. Which rule is driving this functionality?
