Can we create Shipping delivery lines as invoice lines?

The requirement is to create delivery details as invoice lines. When the lines are created in the AR interface tables, currently the delivery details are not populated into the AR interface tables. The OM Workflow sends only the delivery, order line id, order number etc to AR interface tables. Is there any way to customize the workflow so that it sends the delivery details into AR invoice interface tables? Looking for some solution similar to that if any one has developed this approach alreadty.

How to bring delivery lines as AR invoice lines? is it configurable?
