R12.2 How to user the Financials Accounting Hub with GL?

hello Experts !

I read in oracle release notes from R12.1.3 to R12.2 , that there is a new feature added which is : GL is integrated with Fusion Accounting Hub.

can someone provide me what was really the benifits ? is there where i can see a demonstartion of this feature?

i read several oracle notes , but frunkly i did'nt understand well.
