ISS Promotion Split Process is failing when invoked as Inbound Web Service

Hi,

When I invoke ISS Promotion Split Process on 8.1.1.14 through business service simulator, it works properly.

However, when I invoke the same workflow as an inbound web service through EAI Object Manager, it crashes at step Apply New Promotion step.

When I compare the process properties values for the workflow in both scenarios, they are identical.

Are there any known issues with the above BS while invoking in non UI mode?

If yes, is there any workaround for this?
