Does last status 902 have any effect on pricing?

Does last status 902 have any effect on advanced pricing functionality?  Scenario:  line entered, backordered.  The pricing detail changed resulting in new price.  When I go into Check Price, the correct price displays, but upon clicking OK, old price is still on the line.  Proc Opt for Status Limit for change is not an issue.  All lines NOT 902 are not effected.

Even lines that were previously backordered, which still have last status of 902, are not working.

We are using P42101.  When I try it in P4210, the correct price comes back to the line, but upon saving, is not retained.  I inquire on the order again and the old (incorrect) price is still there.
