GL period Stauses not showing actual period open and close dates

Hi ,

We have a requirement to create a dashboard to the period status for the business groups with the actual and close dates.

So, am looking to get the actual start and close dates from the gl_period_statuses table but the table shows the dates as start day of period and end day of the period which have been defaulted according to the calender.

My question is

1. Is there a set up in oracle so that the period open/close will populate actual open date and close date in gl_period_statuses.

2. Is there any other way or any other table where i can get this dates?
