Can we use multiple cost types simultaneously?

Dear All,

I am new to OPM.

Can some one elaborate on this

"OPM Costing supports different Cost Types that can be used to monitor and analyze costs. It has the ability to store cost of a single item in multiple cost types at any given point of time, though only one is used for inventory valuation in OPM Sub-ledger."
