Installation Of Oracle Client 12.1.0.2.0 (64-bit AIX) Fails With An Error Message "[INS-20802] Oracl

Hello:

I was installing Oracle Client 12.1.0.2.0 on AIX

# oslevel -s

6100-07-03-1207

and found we need xlC.rte  11.1.0.4  + several OS Patchs (example IV41977). We installed the xlC.rte packages (xlC.aix61,rte-11.1.0.4  xlC.rte-11.1.0.4)  but not the OS Patchs.

From that point I installed the client but it stops with an error:  the one at the subject:  [INS-20802] Oracle Net Configuration Assistant failed

diving into the installation log I found something familiar (Doc ID 2082662.1)
