Can Short Item number be used as 2nd Item Number

Hi,

During item number creation, system can auto-generate 2nd item number based on the next number constant file, and short item number will populate by unique key ID table F00022, however, 3rd item number will not able to enter its legacy item number.


Question:

Can this 2nd item number be setup the same as short item number (vice versa), and 3rd item number is preserved to be used as legacy item number.
