Recording revenue without AR invoices

Dear Receivables Functional Gurus - Our business receives revenue but we do not issue customer invoices (due to the nature of our business). As result, we are having to import journals into GL (volumes every week that affects the system performance). Wondered if there is a solution offered by Oracle for our scenario (like using receivables module but without the AR invoice transactions). Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
