Large Multi-select field in historical report - 20 options limit

I have researched this forum quite a bit and I seem to find pieces of answers here and there but I thought I would ask my question with all the details;

I have a large multi-select field in the opportunity records type (more than 50 options). I need to create a report (I know it can only be historical) that shows one row for each opportunity-option combination. The only options I have found is to add the column that contains all the concatenated options in one field separated by commas or to add every single option column in the report layout to show the Y/N value in it but facing the issue that only the first 20 options in the list show in the analytics interface to be selected.
