Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC)

22191349 rollback error

Environment:

  Non-shared Grid version 12.1.0.2

  Non-shared Database version 12.1.0.2

  Platform:  IBM AIX (64 bit)

  RAC/Cluster - Shares a second node which also has a non-shared Grid and non-shared database

   I wanted to install the Jan2016 CPU on the grid and database, so had the unix admin (I don't have and can't have root authority) the opatchauto command to install the patch:

opatchauto apply /app/oracle/software/0116psu/22191349 -ocmrf $GRID_HOME/cfgtoollogs/ocm.rsp

    The installation of the patch was successful, but after it completed installing the patch and before executing the postpatch, it wanted a reboot of the system:
