Issue with retiring an Asset

Hi,

We are trying to retire an asset but getting the message ''Copy Changes to Other Books' checked; however, asset books are not in sync', which is not allowing us to save the page. The check box 'Copy changes to Other Books' is grayed out on the page so not sure how to uncheck it. I would appreciate any help to fix this issue.
